At Hazratganj, Lucknow.
Newly opened this month, this cafe was my destination for a Sunday family lunch. Situated in Hazratganj, parking space was an issue as the metro construction was on. The ambience is good and the place is way too spacious. I decided to order different cuisine dishes to get an overall opinion on food quality served here.
I ordered Non-Veg Kebab Platter, Grilled Chicken with Veggies & Mashed Potatoes, Prawn Thai Red Curry with Steam Rice along with Classic Mojito, Masala Mojito and Coffee by Default (Shake).
Non-Veg Kebab Platter: It consisted of Mutton Kebabs, Seekh Kebab, Chicken Tikka & Fish Tikka. For a Kebab lover, this starter platter is a must-have here. According to me, all the kebabs were ok except the Fish Tikkas, which were epic! It was super soft and full of taste.
Grilled Chicken with Veggies & Mashed Potatoes: I prefer having these dishes over Indian food whenever I visit good restros. I must say that this was the dish of the day for me. The mashed potatoes along with the veggies and gravy were greatly accompanied by the grilled chicken.
Prawn Thai Red Curry with Steam Rice: As a Thai cuisine lover, this dish was really disappointing. The Red Curry was too watery and was tasteless when eaten along with steamed rice. The Prawns were not cooked properly too. I expected this dish to be good and packed with flavours.
Both the Mojitos and the Coffee by Default shake were good.
Another setback was that they weren’t accepting credit/debit cards. There were no signboards with prior information regarding this. For a Café like this, it doesn’t make a good impression by not accepting payment cards and just cash.

A good place to visit in Hazratganj but I won't be visiting this place anytime soon. Plus, I don’t think the dishes I tried were value for money.
