Da Capo & Bistro, Navi Mumbai

At Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.

Visited this place for an evening treat and hoped it was the right choice as it was my first time here. This cafe is just beside Cafe Monza and it might give them a tough competition. It had been a long time since I visited a good cafe and this place was new in the neighbourhood, that’s why I chose this place over Cafe Monza for some snacks and coffee.

The ambience is good and you can easily tell the theme, which was music, by seeing the guitars hanging on the walls, painting of the famous musicians and many more. I already started to like this place.

Now, about the food. We ordered two soups- Minestrone and Manchow, Veg ‘Aglio Olio’ pasta, Irish coffee with caramel, Paprika French Fries and Blueberry Cheese Cake. Both the soups were good and just tasted like the usual soups you have in the other restros. Nothing much exceptional. I really liked the pasta, which was light and was really yum. And the same goes for the Irish coffee, it was much better than what is served in CCD or other cafes. French Fries were ok and the Blueberry Cheese Cake was way too sweet.

The service was a bit slow; we had to wait for around 15-20 minutes for our order to get served. I think the reason would have been the noisy crowd of youngsters enjoying on the first floor.

CONCLUSION:

Food: 3/5

Ambience: 4/5

Service: 3/5

TBFC's SCORE: 3.5/5

I would like to visit this place again to try the Non-Veg dishes too.
