At Powai, Mumbai.


I have wanted to visit this Parsi/ Iranian restro for a long time! Luckily a branch of this place is now opened in Powai. I visited this restro for dinner with my family. The ambience of this place is cool. The whole restro has been ‘decorated’ very nicely.

Well, we had to wait for around 30 min. to get ourselves a table. Soon we got our seats and started ordering. The dishes we ordered were Salli Chicken, Chicken Berry Pulao, and Dhansak Chicken & Rotli along with Caramel Custard for dessert.



Salli Chicken: Parsi-style chicken curry topped with potato salli. This dish was, for me, the best dish of the day! The combo of the chicken gravy with potato salli was amazing. Highly recommended dish at this restro for everyone!


Chicken Berry Pulao: Chicken cooked with fragrant organic basmati rice, topped with fried onion, nuts and berries. This Pulao was good.


Dhansak Chicken: Classic Parsi dish of Chicken & Lentils, served with caramelised organic brown rice & kachumbar. This dish was served in a classic dabaa (tiffin). The Chicken dish was ok. The brown rice served with it was very tasty and so was the kachumbar (roughly chopped salad).


Caramel Custard: This dessert tasted good too. The custard was amazing along with the caramel on top.


The service was quick and the servers were really attentive towards the customers, which is a very nice thing.

An amazing place to have Parsi food along with family & friends. A must visit!
